Welcome to Ashmount Primary School

At Ashmount, we believe in a philosophy that promotes a growth mindset in our children, staff and the wider school community where intelligence can be increased through effort, hard work and a commitment to one another as equals in our educational journey.

We believe in using teaching methods that motivate children to be actively engaged in their own learning, promoting perseverance, resilience and a can-do attitude. This approach nurtures children’s ability to think critically and creatively, and to collaborate and co-operate.
